Warm Meals For Slum Kids
Dear Donor:
Help Us Feed Warm Meals To 3000+ Slum Kids This Season Of Giving
About the Campaign
Fasting during the sacred month of Ramadan carries different meanings for different people. For some, it is a journey toward spiritual closeness with God; for others, it is a time to detach from material possessions. For many, it is a season of gratitude—a reminder of the countless blessings in their lives.
But for children living in slums across India, Ramadan is a time of desperate hope—a hope that life will be kinder to them, that one day, they too will have enough to eat whenever hunger strikes. Yet, despite knowing they may have nothing to break their fast with, they still choose to fast.
At Little Heart Foundation, we are committed to changing this reality. Through our initiative, Voice of Slum, we are ensuring that thousands of underprivileged children receive nutritious meals to break their fast every evening throughout Ramadan.
“Children in India’s slums are already weak and malnourished. Yet, during Ramadan, they fast, holding onto their faith and praying for a miracle. When the time comes to break their fast, some have only salt, while others are lucky if they get a thin, watery gruel. Their health suffers, and with it, their fragile hope.”
This Ramadan, Little Heart Foundation is dedicated to providing these children with nutritious food so they do not have to put their health at further risk. Dev and Chandni have taken on the mission of assembling and distributing 1 lakh grocery kits, helping more than 3,000 children break their fast with dignity every day for 30 days. But they cannot do it alone.
For these children, hunger is a constant reminder of their struggles, and every meal they receive is a beacon of hope for a brighter future. With your support, we can provide essential grocery kits that not only nourish them but also ensure they feel included during this holy month of giving.
Your generosity can save lives and transform futures. Join us in making a difference this Ramadan.
