My name is Laxman Suroshe, and today I come to you with a plea that stems from the deepest corners of a father’s love. My daughter has been the source of immeasurable joy in our lives. However, our world has been shaken to its core by a diagnosis that no parent should ever have to face.

She has been diagnosed with Pre B – Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a battle that she has been bravely fighting for the past some months at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital in Parel.

The news of her diagnosis hit us like a tidal wave, leaving us grappling with fear and uncertainty. But amidst the darkness, we cling onto a glimmer of hope – the possibility of life-saving treatment.

The road ahead is daunting, both emotionally and financially. As a family of five with only one source of income, we have poured every ounce of our resources into my daughte’s initial medical expenses.

However, we find ourselves standing at the precipice of a dire financial reality. An additional 3.5 lakhs is needed to cover the costs of her treatment, a sum that is beyond our means.

My daughter’s illness has become a constant presence in our lives, a reminder of the fragility of her health and the urgency of her situation. With each passing moment, the need for treatment becomes more pressing, and we find ourselves racing against time to secure the funds that could be her lifeline.
