FAMILY DETAILS Mr. Iqbal Khan is a daily wage earner and the sole breadwinner of the family. His wife, Mrs. Anam Khan, is a homemaker. The family belongs to a poor background and is struggling to manage their daily needs. Unfortunately, their newborn baby was born premature and with very low birth weight. With limited income and no savings, it is impossible for the parents to manage the heavy medical expenses.

PATIENT DETAILS – Baby Anam Iqbal Khan, a 17-day-old male child, has been admitted at CritiCare Asia Hospital, Kurla since birth under the care of Dr. Mayuri Bhadra (Neonatologist). The baby was born preterm at just 24 weeks of pregnancy with a birth weight of only 630 grams. Since birth, he has been on ventilatory support as he is extremely fragile and requires intensive NICU care.
The doctors have advised that the baby will require 8–10 weeks more of NICU stay for further medical management. The estimated medical expenses are around
Rs. 14,90,000/-.

As the father is the only earning member with a very low income, the family is not in a position to bear such a huge cost. Therefore, the parents have approached Nanhi Pari Foundation with folded hands to help save their baby’s life.
