Mr. Baban Thorat works as a farmer and earns a very modest income of just Rs. 7,000/- per month. His wife, Mrs. Reshma Thorat, is a homemaker, and together they are supporting a family of five members. Their life took a tragic turn when their baby boy, after just eight months of birth, was diagnosed with T-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a severe type of blood cancer. The baby is currently receiving treatment at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel, Mumbai. Doctors have advised a total of 4 cycles of chemotherapy, with each cycle comprising 4 chemotherapy sessions. Out of the 4 cycles, one cycle has been successfully completed. However, 3 more cycles, which include a total of 12 chemotherapy sessions, are still pending.

Initially, the total estimated cost for the treatment was around Rs. 4,00,000/-. Out of this, approximately Rs. 2,00,000/- has already been utilized for the first cycle and initial treatment. Now, the family urgently requires Rs. 2,00,000/- more to complete the remaining chemotherapy sessions.

As Mr. Baban Thorat is the sole earning member with no financial savings and a very limited income, it is impossible for him to bear the high cost of medical treatment. Hence, with a lot of hope, the family has approached Little Heart Foundation seeking financial support to help save their child’s life. Your timely help and contribution can give this little boy a chance to overcome this life-threatening disease and lead a healthy life ahead. https://littleheartfoundation.org/son-of-mr-baban-thorat/
