On the Occasion of This Diwali
We have started an initiative to support these 800 blind families with Monthly Ration & Sweets on the occasion of Diwali this year. There are 800 such blind families from all over Mumbai who used to sell toys, sing songs and beg in trains and at the bus stops. Since the pandemic, their income has gone down to zero. They are in such dire straits and barely have any means to put food on the table for a single meal. While there are lots of charities out there we found these families to be the neglected lot.
Diwali is a time to celebrate with lights, new clothes, delicious food and gifts. We all do everything in our power to make each year’s iteration of Diwali the best there ever was. While we spend Diwali in radiance, there are many including the ones who make our clothes, sweets, toys and decorative items, who don’t get to experience the festivities of Diwali.
We have accepted this to be a reality, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
This Diwali, you can ensure the joy of this festive season reaches the household of underprivileged children. Child Help Foundation has decided to conduct a gift distribution for children.
To conduct this campaign, we would require your help to raise Rs. 8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lac only)
Please join our mission to spread the joy of festivity. Donate to this fundraiser and share this link with all your friends and family members.
