We would like to draw your kind attention to the medical case of Master Arush Dnyaneshwar Belkunde, a 7-year-old boy diagnosed with a large ostium secundum Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) and severe valvar pulmonary stenosis. Due to repeated respiratory infections and increasing discomfort, he was admitted to Fortis Hospital, Mumbai for advanced cardiac evaluation and surgical management.

Arush underwent ASD Surgical Closure (Autologous Pericardial Patch) along with Pulmonary Valvotomy on 4/11/2025. His condition required detailed diagnostic evaluation, 2D echocardiography, and continuous monitoring, as he suffered from shortness of breath and recurrent respiratory issues.

Thanks to timely medical intervention, the surgery was completed successfully. Arush is now stable, with postoperative findings showing an intact ASD closure patch, normal pulmonary valve function, and good ventricular performance.

We are happy to inform you that Master Arush Dnyaneshwar Belkunde, who was admitted for corrective surgery for a congenital heart defect (ASD with Pulmonary Stenosis), has successfully undergone ASD Surgical Closure and Pulmonary Valvotomy at Fortis Hospital, Mumbai.

Arush’s postoperative recovery is encouraging. His discharge summary indicates stable vitals, improved respiratory condition, and normal heart function with no residual shunt. He has been discharged in stable condition and will continue recovery at home under medical supervision.
