Mr. Himank Pandya, the father of Mast. Omansh Pandya, works in a private job with a very limited income. His wife, Mrs. Khushboo Himank Pandya, is a homemaker. They are a family of 5 members, completely dependent on Mr. Himank’s small earnings to manage their daily livelihood. Their life took a painful turn when their 9-month-old baby boy, Mast. Omansh Pandya, was diagnosed with Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency (LAD-1), a rare and serious immune disorder. This condition has put the child’s life at constant risk of infection, and doctors have advised a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) as the only curative treatment.

As part of the medical process, the baby has successfully completed his blood tests, and the doctors have planned to begin his first chemotherapy session within the next 2-3 days. In total, the baby requires 7-8 chemotherapy sessions before proceeding with the transplant. The total estimated cost for the Bone Marrow Transplant along with chemotherapy is Rs. 30,00,000/-. So far, the family has somehow managed to raise approximately Rs. 23-24 lakhs through personal efforts, loans, and support from well-wishers. However, they are still short of Rs. 6,00,000/-, which is urgently required to move ahead with the treatment.

With no savings left and already under extreme emotional and financial pressure, this humble family is unable to manage the huge medical expenses on their own. They have approached little Heart Foundation with great hope for financial support in this difficult time.
