Baby Thorat, just 1 year old, is bravely fighting for his life at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital, Mumbai. He has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive blood cancer — T-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a life-threatening condition that requires urgent and continuous treatment.
Doctors have advised a total of 4 cycles of chemotherapy as part of his life-saving treatment plan. One chemotherapy cycle has already been completed, but three more critical cycles are still pending, which are absolutely essential for his survival and recovery.
Medical Update
Baby Thorat’s next chemotherapy session is scheduled for 16th December 2025. Timely completion of the remaining cycles is crucial, as any delay could seriously affect his chances of survival.

Update 2 January 25 -
Baby of Mr. Baban Thorat was discharged on 29th December 2025. At the time of discharge, the baby’s weight was 11 kg and his condition was stable, with vitals normal, active behavior, and good feeding. However, the baby’s treatment is not yet over. He requires regular OPD follow-ups, ongoing medications, blood investigations, and further chemotherapy as planned by the doctors. Parents have been clearly advised to report to the hospital immediately in case of fever or any emergency symptoms.
Update 5 January 2026 -
The baby of Mr. Baban Thorat was discharged on 29th December 2025 and has been shifted to the general ward following stabilization of his condition. This marks an important step forward in his ongoing treatment for T-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (blood cancer).
His next Oncology OPD visit is scheduled for 9th January 2026, during which doctors will review his condition and plan further treatment.
Ongoing Treatment & Care
Although he has been discharged from intensive care, the treatment is not yet complete. The baby will continue to require:
Regular OPD follow-ups
Ongoing medications
Periodic blood tests
Further chemotherapy sessions, as advised by the doctors
