Medical Evaluation Update:
Baby Avyan recently underwent 2D Echocardiography and CT Aortogram for a detailed assessment of his heart condition.
Key Medical Findings:
Doctors have identified Coarctation of the Aorta, which is a significant narrowing of the main blood vessel supplying blood from the heart, located just after the left subclavian artery.
The aortic arch is under-developed, leading to restricted blood flow and increased strain on the heart.
At present, heart pumping function is normal, which is reassuring, but the condition remains serious and requires careful management.
The CT Aortogram confirmed moderate narrowing of approximately 3.7 mm, validating the diagnosis.
Additionally, the scans revealed right kidney swelling due to PUJ (Pelvi-Ureteric Junction) obstruction, which also needs continuous monitoring.
Current Treatment Plan:
At this stage, Baby Avyan is not medically fit for surgery.
Doctors have advised regular follow-ups and close monitoring of his heart condition.
Definitive heart procedure or surgery will be planned later, once his overall condition stabilizes and he becomes fit for intervention.
The kidney-related issue will be monitored simultaneously, alongside cardiac care, to prevent further complications.
