The twin babies of Mrs. Pallavi Vaibhav Chavan were born extremely premature at just 28 weeks, each with very low birth weight. These fragile newborns are currently fighting for their lives in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to multiple severe and life-threatening complications.
Because of their premature birth, both babies require continuous critical medical support, intensive monitoring, and specialized neonatal care. Their condition remains extremely delicate, and they are under round-the-clock observation by doctors.
Both babies are facing serious complications, including Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), and Sepsis.
Baby 1 (Birth Weight: 1.064 kg) is currently on ventilator/blender support. The baby’s CRP is positive, indicating infection, and is being treated with strong IV antibiotics and fluids. The baby is kept in a septic isolation area for intensive care and infection control.
Baby 2 (Birth Weight: 1.300 kg) has confirmed sepsis. Blood culture reports show Acinetobacter infection, and CRP is positive. The baby is receiving advanced IV antibiotics, fluids, and is under strict NICU care.
Total Estimated Cost of Treatment: ₹7,20,000
