Mst. Arush Dnyaneshwar Belkunde, a 7-year-old boy from Patoda, Taluka Dharashiv, was born with a serious congenital heart defect — Atrial Septal Defect with Pulmonary Stenosis (ASD with PS). His condition caused constant weakness, breathlessness, and severe discomfort since infancy. After consultations in Beed and Mumbai, specialists at Fortis Hospital confirmed the urgency of his condition and recommended ASD Surgical Closure with Pulmonary Valvotomy.
Coming from a family with an annual income of barely ₹40,000, Arush’s father, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Maruti Belkunde, a small farmer, was unable to afford the high cost of treatment. Despite the emotional and financial strain, the family fought relentlessly to get Arush the care he needed.
Thanks to timely medical intervention, the dedication of the doctors at Fortis Hospital, and the generous support from well-wishers, Arush successfully underwent the surgery. The procedure was smooth, and his recovery has been remarkable. From a fragile child struggling to breathe, Arush is now active, energetic, and steadily regaining full health.
Today, he is living the childhood he deserves — playing, studying, smiling, and growing stronger every day. This transformation has brought immense relief and happiness to his family, who are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to saving their child’s life.
With gratitude,
