Help Save Baby Omansh Pandya
A 9-month-old baby, Mast. Omansh Pandya, is bravely fighting Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency (LAD-1) — a rare and life-threatening immune disorder. Doctors at the treating hospital advised an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) as the only curative option. The baby required multiple chemotherapy sessions and specialized care to prepare for the transplant.
The parents come from a very humble background and are unable to bear the mounting medical expenses, which have already crossed ₹4–5 lakhs, and treatment is still ongoing. Each passing day in the NICU is crucial — every contribution can make a life-saving difference.
The child’s father, Mr. Himank Pandya, works in a private job earning a limited monthly income. His wife, Mrs. Khushboo Himank Pandya, is a homemaker. They are a family of five entirely dependent on Mr. Himank’s modest earnings to meet their daily needs.
Their peaceful life turned upside down after the diagnosis. Despite taking loans and receiving help from friends and relatives, the family still faced a shortfall of ₹ 6,00,000 needed to continue Omansh’s treatment.
Financial Status and Treatment Progress
The estimated cost of â‚ą 30 lakhs covered chemotherapy, transplant, and post-operative care. Through the Little Heart Foundation, and the generosity of donors, the entire required amount was raised, allowing baby Omansh to proceed with his treatment and receive the urgent care he needed.
